This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to eligible services and programmes purchased directly from PCWatch Consulting CC.
Our objective is to deal with cancellation and refund requests fairly and in accordance with applicable South African law.
Requests should be submitted to:
PCWatch Consulting CC
Email: [email protected]
Website: https://pcwatch.cc
Please include sufficient information for us to identify your booking or transaction, such as your name, programme or service, transaction reference and reason for the request.
Do not send banking passwords, PINs or complete payment-card details by email.
If you are unable to attend a paid training programme, workshop or short course, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where cancellation is permitted, the amount refundable may depend on how far in advance the cancellation is received; whether programme-specific cancellation terms were disclosed at registration; costs already reasonably incurred; whether materials or digital resources have already been supplied; and applicable consumer-protection requirements.
Where practical, PCWatch may offer an alternative programme date, transfer or credit instead of a refund, with the customer's agreement.
PCWatch may occasionally need to postpone, reschedule or cancel a programme because of insufficient enrolment, instructor availability, operational circumstances or events outside our reasonable control.
If PCWatch cancels a paid programme and cannot provide a suitable alternative, affected customers will be entitled to an appropriate refund of amounts paid for the cancelled service. Where a programme is rescheduled, customers will be informed of the available options.
Consulting, advisory, software development and customised services may be subject to an accepted quotation, proposal, statement of work or other agreement.
Cancellation and refund arrangements contained in that agreement will apply to the relevant engagement. Where work has already commenced, PCWatch may be entitled, subject to applicable law and the applicable agreement, to payment for work already performed and reasonable costs already incurred.
Where a deposit or advance payment is required to secure a booking or commence work, any conditions applicable to that payment will be disclosed before or when the payment is requested.
Whether a deposit is refundable will depend on the applicable agreement, work already undertaken, costs reasonably incurred and the customer's rights under applicable South African law.
If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same transaction or that an incorrect amount was processed, contact us at [email protected].
We will investigate the transaction and, where an incorrect or duplicate payment is confirmed, arrange an appropriate correction or refund.
Approved refunds will ordinarily be made through an appropriate payment method or to the person/account from which the original payment originated, where reasonably possible.
Additional information may be requested to verify the transaction and prevent fraud.
Once a refund has been approved, PCWatch will initiate it within a reasonable period. The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank and payment method and may therefore be outside PCWatch's direct control.
Where third-party payment providers are used, their processing rules may also affect how a refund is executed.
PCWatch will not impose an arbitrary refund fee. Any deductions or reasonable charges applicable to a cancellation will be communicated and applied only where permitted by the applicable agreement and South African law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, restrict or exclude any right or remedy that a customer is entitled to under applicable South African consumer law.
Where a mandatory legal right conflicts with a provision of this policy or a programme-specific cancellation term, the applicable law will prevail.
We recognise that illness, emergencies and other exceptional circumstances can affect a customer's ability to attend a programme or continue with a service.
Customers are encouraged to contact us as early as possible. Such requests will be considered reasonably, taking into account the circumstances, costs already incurred and applicable legal requirements.
